A million thank you’s from the bottom of our hearts.
Dad passed so peacefully at 12:09pm.
I was with our beautiful baby sister driving around our neighborhood, doing what dad would have been doing, teaching her how to drive in his old Ford truck.
Dad took his last breaths in the arms of his love and in the presence of his son, one of his best friend’s wife (who passed 12 years ago) and his nephew.
He was our hero.
He was our teacher.
He was our problem solver.
Dad was known most for his amazing way with people, his generous heart, his wealth of knowledge, his passion for traveling and different cultures, and his love for his country.
I have a lot of my dad in me. And now more than ever I am thankful.
I’ll write and post more photos later, but just wanted to let everyone know the end of our journey has come. I can’t imagine how happy he must be in the presence of our King, our Heavenly Poppa. How I long to see what he sees right now. He is in PARADISE
Here’s to you, dad. We all took a sip of the last Heineken you left behind. We love you forever and will see you soon.
