Regardless of how it feels sometimes, the peace in your heart really is in your hands. The circumstances around you could be in utter disarray, the people in your life may drive you crazy, but the best lesson to learn in your marriage or ANY relationship for that matter is that YOU ARE NOT IN CHARGE of someone else’s life, attitudes, choices or behaviors. We must let each human being walk out their own journey, work out their own salvation, overcome their own obstacles. That’s the beauty of being called a son or daughter of God! Our purpose MUST be refined and our identity MUST be found by walking our OWN path and staying in our own lane. You do yourself (and those around you) a disservice by trying to control, fix, push or force someone into becoming who you want them to be. You are not perfect or powerful enough to do God’s job! Just let go…. LET GO… and watch God do it! Watch His perfect majesty create beauty from ashes!
