It was a beautiful candlelight service with our awesome church family tonight at Grace Family Church. Then we were off to grandma’s house for a party!
Our family celebrates Jesus’ birthday on Christmas Eve. It’s a big, beautiful, loud, coming together of traditions, prayers, singing, yummy food, and presents. It was quite the feat staying up until midnight with three very active toddlers (including my beautiful niece Cecily), so we ended up leaving early to calm them down and get them in bed.
The best part of the night?? Snuggling in mommy and daddy’s bed, in our Christmas PJs, just the four of us. It was a moment just for me… holding my husband’s hand with both of our babies safely nuzzled between us. It was a feeling of pure love and utter peace. My entire world was safely in my arms. If I wasn’t so tired, this post might have gotten more emotional, but it truly was a moment I captured in my memory forever.
I pray you all have a moment like this with someone you love. Someone who fills your life with joy and reminds you that life is short. So take risks, love unashamedly, forgive quickly and let your light shine for all to see! Merry Christmas friends!
