Sometimes being a mom is hard, like when you get sick, or when you’re sad, or when you just want to get in your car and take a break. Breaks become planned, tears are squeezed into 3 minute potty breaks, and let’s face it… mom’s can’t call in sick. But the day will come soon enough when I will miss hearing my babies cry for me at night. I’ll long for the greasy hair, the unending loads of laundry and messy home full of toys and snacks and sticky hands. So I’m learning to embrace my mess and hold it tight. Just one more day is quite alright with me.
