4 years ago today, a few of my friends and pastors helped my delicious Russian execute an elaborate, and very public, proposal. Hundreds of my close friends and church family screamed and cheered as this terrified, courageous man professed his love for me on stage during our Wednesday night women’s #Sisterhood service at Celebration Church of Jacksonville. I can’t believe it has been 4 years. To be honest, it has felt much longer. Boris and I have been through some of the greatest tests of marriage that I never imagined I would go through. And yet… here we are still standing.
As you read this, I’m probably finishing the outline for my first book, detailing the good, the bad and the ugly of what God has called us to overcome. What I’m learning is that God’s greatest stories, His greatest victories, are seen in the lives of those willing to trust Him enough to keep going. Those who surrender each day and still say, pick me, Lord. I’ll go.
I’m not sure what will come of this book, but I’d love your prayers as Boris and I embark on this new journey, telling our story to the world.
