This momma is a little under 2 months away from celebrating my next milestone birthday. I remember when I was a teenager, 40 sounded like half-way to death! At least the death of any spontaneity and excitement

To me, 40 sounded BORING! And now, here we are old friend…

Is this real life?  I feel like I’m JUST NOW getting started!! Most people my age have teenagers and successful, grown-up careers, and I’m over here like, “WE DO NOT PUT POOP ON THE WALL,” while hustling to chase my dreams during nap times, car rides and quick escapes to the bathroom

My journey has definitely been an unconventional one. I followed my 💖 heart, traveled wherever I wanted, held some pretty interesting jobs, went on spontaneous road trips, lived in more apartments than I can keep track of, shmoozed with lots of celebrities, and met some amazing people along the way. But, in my bones, I feel that what lies ahead of me is so much greater than what I left behind.

So now, I’m determined to focus on the direction of my heart, no matter the fear, no matter the rejection, no matter how many people may not believe in what I’m doing. Because in the end, what will matter most is whether or not I fulfilled my purpose, delivered my message and touched as many lives as I was meant to… even in the face of adversity and ridicule.

So get up, lionesses, wherever you are, and shake off whatever is holding you back. Because the truth is, you were made for something more. You were made for greatness! Use ever drop of sweat and tears you have shed, and use it to change the world! 💎
