So does the feeling of an elephant sitting on your chest signify you are on the right track??? Or maybe time to call 911? Either way, have I mentioned how absolutely full of JOY and EXCITEMENT I am!? I don’t think there is a high that exists better than being filled with the Holy Spirit and feeling totally aligned with God’s plan for you. Nonetheless…. the IRS would probably not go for that excuse if I don’t get all of this non profit paperwork taken care of!

So today I filed for a dissolution of my “LLC” so that I could apply to be a Non-Profit Corporation. Apparently, there is no “converting” so I am not only out the $120 I paid to become an “LLC,” but now I have to pay $25 for the dissolution, and another $70+ to register my new Corporation Articles. Then, I have to pay like $250 just to register my 501c-3 with the IRS (so I heard). Well, just for fun (which by the way is soooo NOT) I looked through my business counselor’s recommended website about non-profits, http://www.thethirdsector.blogspot.com and also IRS.gov and though the info is extremely useful and has all the paperwork and knowledge you need to know…. does anyone REALLY read that stuff??? I mean, how are we suppose to get through all that and not have a mental breakdown?? Seriously? I guess that’s why they hire lawyers and accountants to do the dirty work. Too bad I’m poor and have to climb this mountain alone. Well, by the grace and mercy of God I WILL get through this without a mental breakdown and His hand will be on this project and my decisions the entire journey.

Father I ask for your wisdom and guidance as you take me through this nightmare of paperwork and business decisions. Lead me towards the right answers or the right people that can carry me through this process. Otherwise, I ask you for a financial breakthrough so that we may hire someone trustworthy and focused on you, Lord, to properly and carefully organize our mission. I ask this all in Jesus’ name!
